My name is Chloé Wells, I’m an Alumni of Duke University and current Point Guard in the Russian Overseas Basketball Professional League! The most important things in life to me are my God, family, friends, and being able to motivate and inspire as many children’s lives as I can.

Outside of playing basketball, I love playing other sports and board games with my parents, sisters, and nieces. I also love giving back to the less fortunate. My goals include having a phenomenal Russian season, playing in the WNBA next year which will propel me to ultimately being able to mentor even more students and speak at more youth facilities, including foster homes, juvenile centers, and schools!

Q&A WITH CHLOE

Q: What's your favorite book?

Chloe: Rich Dad Poor Dad was a great book that made me think about money and assets in ways I never thought before. 

 

Q: Name one thing everyone should experience at least once?

Chloe: Everyone should experience traveling, especially internationally. Americans are cherished in other parts of the world. You'll encounter beautiful views, amazing food/people, and different experiences that will broaden your perspective on life. One of my most exhilarating experiences was in Azpetia, Spain, where they let out a bull in the middle of the street. The men of the city would toy with it, try to run away, and the townspeople would cheer when they outsmarted the bull.

 

Q: What's your favorite song?

Chloe: Give Me by Kirk franklin 

 

What's your favorite way to train at Legends? Why?

Chloe: I love running on the treadmills. It helps my speed and endurance tremendously. 

 

Q: What’s one thing you have to do to prepare on game day?

Chloe: On a game day, I have to pray and meditate. Quieting my mind helps me relax and stay in the moment 

 

Q: What do you do post-training to enhance your performance?

Chloe: After a training session, I always make sure to eat. Training hard and eating well puts me in stellar shape.
