Q: What's a book you read that made an impact on you?
Natalie: One book that made an impact on me is called "A Long Walk to Water." It's a story about a young kids survival in war torn Sudan. Despite the adversity he faces, he finds a way to stay hopeful and give back to his community. β¨β¨
Q: Name one thing everyone should experience?
Natalie: One thing everyone should experience is the thrill of competing and chasing your passion. Nothing is more exciting than pushing and challenging yourself to always get better.β¨β¨
Q: What is one song you never get sick of listening to?
Natalie: I can never get tired of listening to "We Are One" by Pitbull. It makes me feel like I'm at the World Cup.
Q: What's your favorite way to train at Legends? Why?
Natalie: I love doing the treadmill training at Legends. While running I can feel my body is being pushed and I like to be able to see my form when I run. The Coaches are always hyping us up too!
Q: What’s one thing you have to do to prepare on game day?
Natalie: I like to prepare my mind and body for the game. I always pray for confidence and strength. I do yoga and dynamic stretches as well as visualization exercises. I close my eyes and picture what I am going to do in the game.
Q: What do you do post-training session to enhance your performance?
Natalie: I like to have a protein shake after training and then I use the massage gun and Normatec Compression Therapy on my legs. If I have enough time I will also take an epson salt bath.
